A Memorable Day At The Beach

This is story when I got my holiday on Kijing Beach, West Borneo. I went to the beach. While I was there, something happened to make this memorable day for me. I had started off early in the morning. When I arrived at Kijing Beach, there was not many people there yet. I sat down to gaze at the sea. Soon, however, the beach was crowded with picnickers. I changed into our swimming trunks and raced into the water. The water was cooling and refershing, and I swam until I was tired. The exercise had whetted our appette, so I ate my packed lunch. Then, I rested a while before going into the sea again. By mid-afternoon, most of swimmers had came out of the water to lie on the beach. I wanted to collect sea shells for my sister, so I took a walk along the shore. Suddenly, I saw a little girl about two years old running toward the sea. She went deeper and deeper into the water. Nobody notice her, so I ran after her. I reached her just as she got into trouble. She has lost balance and was sinking into the water. I picked her up and carried her to the shore. And then, her parents arrived on the scene. They had discovered that their was missing. The little girl's parents kept thinking me, which made us rather embarrassed. After that, I packed my things and go home.

Forest In Indonesia

Indonesia is famous for its rich natural resources. One of the resources comes from the forest. Many parts of the island are still covered by dense forest. We can find them in Kalimantan, Sumatera, Sulawesi, and Papua. Our forest produce, rattans, resins, and many others important exporting commodities. The forest hevealsoother function namely as reservation, prevention of the flood, purification of air pollution, and recreation objects. The forests can keep a lot of water during the rainy season. The goverment builds reservation and the farmer can use it for irrigation in the dry season. The forest can purfiy the air pollution, because trees need carbon dioxide from the air and exhale oxygen into the air. We can find many kinds of flora and fauna in the forest. So, we should have to do our best to reserve the forest safe and prevent them from damage.

Orchid Flower

Indonesia has many kinds of flowers. The most interesting ones are Orchids and Rafflesia Arnoldii. Orchid is well know as the most beautiful flowers. Rafflesia is the biggest flower in the world. We have about thousands kinds of orchids, such as Coelogyne aspirate or Anggrek  Mutiara. It grows in Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua. Now, we can find a lot of orchid farmers, especially in Jakarta. They usually plant them in the yard or in a special field. For example, in Jakarta we can find the field of orchid in Taman Anggrek  in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. There have many kinds of orchid. If you want it you must pay the price is quite expensive. People have made an effort to make special orchid garden in their places. Many important guest are invited there to enjoy its beauty. Many scientists are interested in orchid and they try to make new crossbreeding orchid. They hare produced many kinds of wonderful orchids.

Fast Food

Today, you can find fast food in almost city in the world. In some places, you stand in line and get a hamburger or hotdog in a paper bag. In others, you can pick fish, chicken, pizza, or even Mexician and chinese food. And in some fast food places, you can even drive you car up to a window and place your order, and a worker gives your food through the window and you can drive away and eat in your car. In Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and hundreds of cities in Indonesia, new fast food restaurants open everyday. But, why do people prefer fast food restaurant to more comfortable restaurant? Where they can it quietly at a table served by a waiter or a waitress?
Two things to make fast food restaurants become popular, speed and price. People times are valuable. They have only thirty minute for a lunch. They don't want to waste a lot of time for a lunch and preparing food. The service is fast, so they can order what they want. Completed in less than fifteen minutes, and prices are inexpensive. Critics of fast food say that they are "junk food" which no nutritional value. They say fast food, such as hamburger contain too much salt, carbohydrate, and fat. But one thing is sure, people in everywhere like fast food and they food a convenient and economical way to eat.

Pastime In Leisure Time

Some people always seem to know what they want, and how to make use of their spare or leisure time. Other never seem to know what they want or what to do with their spare time, such these people  need to be told or taught how to make use of their leisure. It is often said that having hobby is one of the best way to use leisure. The kinds of hobbies we take up depend on out preferences. Some people are much attacted to beautiful things, for them painting or music perhaps the best pastime. Others are more interested in outdoor life like hiking, camping, fishing, or sport like swimming, tennis, and football. There are people whose hunger for the unusual is difficult to satisfy. They may like to collect stamps, rocks, driftwood, coins, butterflies, or even snakes. You can see now the kinds of hobbies you can take up. Some are expensive, other are relatively cheap. It has been known for people hobbies to turn into bio business and to make them a lot of money. What is started as a hobby can turn into a serious activity. Yet not all people who have hobbies started out with the idea one day they would make them rich. They started with simple idea of getting involved in something which would help while away the hours usefully.

Trauma Of Cat

Cat is one of the most animal that people enthused to be pet home. According their, the cat is funny, cute, and benign, but I don't think so. I think, cat is nightmare because his sharp nails and his fine feathers also can make me allergy and trauma. I am afraid of cat and I don't like cat, because I have bad experience of cat. I have been injured because I have been bitten and clawed by a cat. This certainly makes me trauma when I saw a cat.
